Today the South-East of England woke up to the worst snow fall for the last 18 years. Oxford got off lightly but we still had a covering. The temperature didn't get above freezing all day, so I really felt for these school kids doing laps of the snowy field! I was supposed to be flying to Ireland tonight but all flights out of Heathrow were grounded. Oh well. Despite a famously miserable climate we don't cope too well with snow over here....!
